Scope and Topics

JKNP invites original empirical research, systematic reviews, health economics analyses, and public policy reviews. Key thematic areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Epidemiology & Disease Prevention: Surveillance of communicable and non-communicable diseases, outbreak investigations, vector control, and preventive vaccination strategies.

  • Health Policy, Administration & Economics: Universal health coverage implementation, national health insurance schemes, healthcare financing, policy evaluation, and health service management.

  • Environmental & Occupational Health: Environmental sanitation, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, toxicology, and climate change impacts on public health.

  • Community Health, Nutrition & Behavior: Maternal and child health, stunting prevention, nutritional epidemiology, health communication, and community-based health behavior interventions.

  • Digital Health & Health Information Systems: Public health informatics, electronic health reporting, spatial epidemiology (GIS in public health), and data-driven health monitoring systems.
